Do motherhood and art go together? Is there any room in the life of a home-schooling, bread-baking, business- owning mom, to be an artist? No. But that's not going to stop me.

Love this glaze!
I've been working like a production potter getting ready for the Pollocksville Pottery Festival. Mark your calendar for Sat, Nov 13, Bell Plantation, Hwy 58, towards Trenton. If you don't need pottery, buy a gift for someone else. This year, buy everything hand-crafted made in America and support the arts!
hi i hope you dont mind me "following you". i was searching through blogs and found yours. i was amazed at our similarities...as listed in your blog title. i am a stay at home mom, and just recently began making pottery again. so hello!!
First and Foremost, I am a Christian. There are days when I sure don't live up to the name. I am also privileged to be married to my best friend and first love, Chris. We have four children, or should I say, 1 adult, 2 younger adults, and Ethan, who is still a child. We own and operate the best art store in North Carolina, Art &Materials and Ballantyne Framing. I make and sell pottery, teach pottery classes, merchandise the windows and design displays.Oh, I also help with other miscellaneous stuff like writing the monthly newsletter, art birthday parties, publicity and advertising and...I think that's it.
